BUSINESS HISTORY
Landscape design and sustainable landscapes

As Owner and Landscape Designer my experience in Landscape design was developed first hand with a passion of the artNatalain Schwartz landscape designer and a love of gardening. Taking horticulture and art education thought-out my life, the two just naturally harmonized.
I owned and operated a landscape company for 27 years. As owner and contractor I not only provided landscape design and build projects for clients   but would also provide care and maintenance for the gardens of many private clients. This experience of both design and the maintenance of my landscapes has nurtured a strong understanding of 'sustainable landscapes' and my clients needs.
I have had the opportunity to work in a wide variety of microclimates and with many varieties of plants.  I understand what it takes to have a successful garden.

The creation and operation of our organic family farm and vineyard - Deja View Organic Farm & Vineyard located in Corralitas here on the Central Coast; provides me with the practical knowledge of combining small-scale agriculture into residential environments.Deja View Organic Farm and vineyard Although creating edible landscaping is dear to my heart I produce a wide variety of landscape styles for my clients based on pragmatic conditions and aesthetic vision.
Now, as the owner of Natalain Schwartz Landscape Design, I use my wide range of landscape experience and my abilities as a facilitator to develop and smoothly guide a project from conception to reality. It is a pleasure to be the liaison between my clients landscape desires and the sensible aspects of landscape installation and functionality. My ability to choose style and design elements to suit the needs of the situation directs my clients down a clear path to the realization of their garden dreams.

I have designed many landscape projects for homeowners and builders and would welcome consideration for yours. Please feel free to contact me with any questions At Natalain@aol.com

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is simple:

'Helping clients connect with the land while sustaining the natural balance'

First and foremost maintain awareness and understanding of the existing site when developing a plan. Always keep in mind the fine balance of existing bio-diversity and the effect any action will have on that system.

Over the years, we have produced a wide range of landscaping project styles based on Pragmatic conditions and aesthetics. Thirty years of landscape designing, installation and maintaining has brought valued experience that is reflected in each
individual client's project.

I use my abilities to develop and guide a landscaping project from conception to reality, painlessly. I have had the pleasure of being the liaison between my clients landscape desires and my ability to choose style and landscaping design to suit the needs of the situation. My method is to promote my client’s visions to develop a clear path in the direction of their dream. My purpose is pragmatic and sensible approach to landscape along with sustainable landscape methods.
